Aberdeen Audiology becomes an American Institute of Balance Center of Specialty Care

Earlier this week, our doctors of audiology traveled to Florida for training with the American Institute of Balance. By completing the training, Aberdeen Audiology is now one of AIB’s Centers of Specialty Care. 

The American Institute of Balance (dizzy.com) in Largo, Florida, is the global leader in evaluation and management of balance disorders, training more diagnosticians and rehabilitation secialists than any other entity.

Through the diagnostic equipment, knowledge, and expertise our doctors of audiology can now utilize, we have the ability to pinpoint the cause of someone’s dizziness and then develop a targeted treatment plan.

The average dizzy patient makes seven visits to healthcare professionals to determine what’s causing their dizziness, and that’s before even beginning treatment. Our goal is to reduce that number significantly for our patients!
