Phonak

The Phonak EON is a rechargeable hearing aid with dedicated AI that lifts voices out of noise, strong wind-noise control, and native Auracast connectivity for public audio.

Phonak EON

The Phonak EON is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid that uses a dedicated AI chip to lift speech out of background noise. As the third generation of Phonak's Sphere platform, it keeps the proven speech-in-noise ability of earlier models in a body that is 25% smaller and 20% lighter. We fit the Phonak EON for patients who want clearer conversation in the places where hearing is hardest.

Following Voices in a Noisy Space

A loud room packed with competing voices is the toughest test for a hearing aid, and it is where hearing loss shows itself most plainly. EON answers it with Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0, a separate AI system that recognizes speech, separates it from the noise, and puts it back together for easier listening. Phonak reports up to 50% better speech understanding than advanced directional microphones and up to 37% less listening effort, so a long evening in a crowded place is less tiring. The technology now covers three of Phonak's performance levels rather than the top two, widening the range of budgets it fits.

What the Phonak EON Offers

Each feature below shapes how well you hear and stay connected from morning to night.

  • Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0. Dedicated AI that pulls speech from background noise and rebuilds it, aimed squarely at the crowded rooms where hearing aids usually falter.
  • AutoSense OS AI 8.0. Automatic processing that adapts quickly and intelligently as your surroundings change, holding clarity steady as you move between quiet and noise.
  • WindBlock 2.0. Reduces wind noise at the microphones by up to 50 dB without losing speech, and more than 90% of Phonak's testers preferred it for natural sound.
  • Compact, Light Design. A quarter smaller and a fifth lighter than the last Sphere generation, in a standard rechargeable RIC size with eight color choices.
  • Wide Connectivity. The Era chip handles Bluetooth phones, computers, tablets, and TVs, hands-free calling, Phonak Roger microphones, and native Auracast public audio broadcasts.
  • Full-Day Power. Up to roughly 22 hours per charge under heavy streaming and noise, about 2.5 hours to recharge fully, and an optional travel charger with its own battery.

Deciding Whether EON Suits You

EON fits patients whose main challenge is speech in noise, who are outdoors often enough for wind to be a problem, or who stream calls and audio for a good part of the day. It handles hearing losses from mild through profound, offers eight colors, and pairs with a Phonak CROS transmitter for those with little or no usable hearing in one ear.

EON concentrates its strength on noisy and outdoor listening. If your listening is mostly quiet and one-on-one, a simpler hearing aid may do the job for less, and we will point you there if it suits you better.
